Colorimetrial rapid tests
The main characteristics of each colorimetrial rapid
test are the same:
-
the colour reaction is happening in the solution;
-
the measurment is done in test tubes or in small cells;
-
the visual evaluation.
Colorimetrial comparing tests have two
connected cells. One of them is the comparator cell, actually a color range
according to some different concentrations. The other one is the
cell where in fact the reaction is happening. We put the sample solution
and the reagents together in it. After the colour reaction is played
out, the colour of that cell is compared with the
colour scale.
This test is more sensitive and exact than the test strips.
The smallest concentration that can be showed with this test is 0,1 mg/l.
This kind test is almost as sensitive as the titrimetrial tests,
but it's not as exact as those one.
